I am the oldest of four children. My brother Rónán is 28.. My sister Maeve is 25 years old. My youngest sister Sinéad is 21, a senior at UC Santa Barbara.
I am a first-generation Irish immigrant. My mother is from Dublin and my father is from Belfast. My parents moved to the United States shortly after they were married. My father worked for Arthur Anderson Consulting in Dublin after receiving his Masters degree from Trinity College, and was granted a transfer to Arthur Anderson's headquarters in Chicago. My father transferred to Arthur Anderson's office in San Francisco in 1985 and went on to work for Clorox, META Group, and BEA Systems before entering a state of semi-retirement. My mother worked as a secretary for a year, and a teacher's aide at Kent Middle School on occasion.
I am a dual citizen of the United States of America and the Republic of Ireland. I have traveled internationally to Ireland, London, Luxembourg, China, Australia, and Baja Mexico.
I lived in Kentfield most of my life, an unincorporated area of Marin County about 10 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. I attended Bacich Elementary School, Kent Middle School, and The Branson School before leaving Marin County for UCLA in 1997. I currently live in the south of Market district of San Francisco.
