Marriage Protection Week, 2003

The White House has a press release stating the week of October 12 through October 18, 2003, as Marriage Protection Week. Is a society, and therefore a country, and better off through the institution of marriage? Are Rosie O’Donnell’s adopted children less well off for their adoption into a lesbian household? The definition of a family should make for an interesting debate topic in the 2004 Presidental campaign.
